Spread is only part of the cost of forex CFD trading, so the “lowest spread” headline can be misleading. Raw or ECN-style accounts often show very tight spreads but add a per-trade commission, while standard accounts fold the cost into a wider spread with no separate commission. Spreads also widen around news and low-liquidity hours. To compare fairly, traders usually add spread + commission + overnight swap together for the instruments and hours they actually trade.
