Lithium Americas Corp (LAC) set to ‘Close only’ on 3 October 2023

NOTIFICATIONS

Following the separation completion by Lithium Americas Corp (TSX: LAC) (NYSE: LAC), all positions of LAC will be limited to ‘Close only’ effective 3 October 2023 until further notice.   

LAC has officially announced that the planned separation into Lithium Americas (Argentina) Corp (Lithium Argentina) and Lithium Americas Corp (Lithium Americas) is scheduled to conclude on 3 October 2023. As part of this separation, shareholders will receive 1 Lithium Argentina common share and 1 Lithium Americas common share for every LAC shares held immediately before the effective date of the separation.  

However, Vantage currently does not offer Lithium Argentina for trading and will not be able to execute this distribution. Therefore, all open positions will be automatically closed following the effective date of the separation.
