Closing Position Only: General Electric Co (GE)

Please be advised that the trading of US stock ‘GE’ General Electric Co on Vantage’s platforms has been set to close-only from 23 December 2022 to 4 January 2023 due to company spin-off.

Vantage clients can resume to trading for General Electric Co under the symbol GE on Vantage’s platforms from 4 January 2023 onwards.

What happened to General Electric Co (GE) ?

General Electric Company (“GE”) (NYSE: GE) announced that its Board of Directors has approved the previously announced spin-off of its healthcare business, GE Healthcare Holding LLC (“GE HealthCare”) The company is expected to begin trading on Nasdaq on January 4, 2023, under the ticker “GEHC”, and GE will continue to trade on NYSE.
